This set has 6 Free Standing Lace (FSL) bookmarks featuring darling little bees. If you have children who have been assigned “summer reading” these little charmers may help keep them interested. They could even help you make these cute little bookmarks.

We sewed our samples with a layer of Mylar for extra sparkle. These designs can be sewn without Mylar - they just won’t be as shiny.

The designs are available in two hoop sizes (4x4 or 5x7). The 4x4 designs are rotated in the hoop to give you a finished bookmark that is 4 1/4 inches tall.

You can also use variegated thread for the final border for a delightful finish.

Remember, if you use the Mylar we recommend, it is washable and dryable in machines. I even iron on it for quilts or making garments!
