Redwork Christmas Ornaments

This set started out like other redwork sets - very simple redwork designs, in two sizes. As we worked with them, we realized these would make perfect ornaments or package toppers. They resemble free standing lace but sew out in about 7 minutes each for the largest size, even more quickly for the smaller ones! So we have included everything you need to make these designs FOUR different ways!

This charming set is a perfect project for children who want to help or for quickly making items for a craft fair. These sew out very quickly and your little helpers can rinse out the stabilizer and add ties (or other embellishments) for you.

This is Sammie (with the Halloween ribbons in her hair) and her best friend helping to finish the applique versions by rinsing out the stabilizer.

For each design, you will get four choices:

4x4 regular redwork

2x2 regular redwork

4x4 applique ornament

2.5 x 2.5 applique ornament

For the applique, we used a single layer of sparkling organza over wash away stabilizer.
Once they are rinsed and dried they are ready to be tied to a tree, some garland or a package. Complete instructions are included with the set.

We used various colors here simply to show you the differences - you can use anything you like.
